Welcome

“Our role is to help make sense of what we see and hear, feed it back, and use it to affirm, challenge, and stretch what educators are doing together with a trusted and collaborative relationship of critical friendship”(Hargreaves, 2024, p. xi). This is the “Why” expressed by Sinek (2009) when we need to build sustainable leadership from the middle. To mentor, coach and grow our middle leaders is not just rewarding, but a privilege I continue to enjoy and share insights of. Specific objectives we deliver are:

  • Strategic, Innovative, Critical and Creative Thinking Teams
  • Distributive Team Leadership Structures
  • Leadership and Teacher Training and Development Sessions
  • Project Management Processes
  • Building Relationships and Confidence
  • Understanding and use of flexible learning spaces,
  • Contemporary timetable structures
  • Teaching teams
  • Appropriate use of technology
  • The concept of a “Connected Learning” environment

So join our colleagues in shaping new horizons (see the HOT TOPICS discussed in our BLOG) in developing the set of skills (click on the “To Do List” on the far right of the above menu) that will allowed us to understand all levels of management so we can empower an ability to create and drive strategic initiatives that can develop and implement contemporary teaching and learning approaches required for 21st century learning. Together we will work towards a new horizon of thinking and shape our future schools and leaders with the needs of our children in building a better world.

THE WHY IS THE BEGINNING...

“The future is not some place we are going to but one we are creating, the paths are not to be found but made.”
John Schaar

THE HOW IS THE CHALLENGE...

The task of creating a teaching and learning environment highlighting contemporary practices is important to developing future strategic thinking.
